Reviews
The only thing more beautiful than this lovely, but very small, beach was the locals we visited with. They actually restored this beach to bring it to its full potential and they were so very proud of it along with being welcoming and kind and telling us about the beach and rabbit island, which you see in the picture. Very beautiful place and people!
Great spot for snorkeling. We saw some eels, turtles many moorish idols.
Clean restrooms and one of the best sands on Oahu
There’s so many corals just right by the beach — a really good amount of fish and I caught two giant turtles within 5 minutes of snorkeling.
Great ROI for snorkeling
Wonderful beach park. Not many tourists so if we want to find a quiet beach to chill I highly recommend
Great spot to go if you want to get away from the big crowds over at Waikiki. There was some weather there when we went so we didn't stay long. Snorkeling can be good as there are more rocks below and waters are not rough as well. We even saw a little crabby too! If you like the view but not being in the sand this is also perfect since there is space close to the shore and separated picnic spots. There are public restrooms and lots of space for parking.
Unlike the waves at Sandy Beach, the sand is narrow, the water is warm, and the showers are conveniently located right out front.
However, the lack of waves means the water isn't as clear.
Lots of locals with families.
This beach is stunning! Lots of sea life near the reefs. It is a little chilly since it is right by the mountains. Be careful near the full moon because the Portuguese Man-of-war come out. My kiddo was stung and it was not a pleasant afternoon.
This spot was so beautiful and calm when we visited, it was perfect for our little ones to float around in. The current was not strong or overwhelming and the water was beautiful and clear. We saw some small fish and a turtle which was definitely the highlight of the day there. The bathroom and showers were perfect and pretty clean and the parking was good when we got there. Hopefully when we visit again we will definitely go back to this perfect spot
